Questions from publishers

What data sources does GAMEMARKETER use?

Every insight is built on our proprietary Steam intelligence database — sales estimates, wishlist estimates, revenue projections, and genre benchmarks across 170,000+ titles — combined with our own games-marketing knowledge base distilled from years of agency work on real campaigns. Layered on top of that is live public data from Steam (pricing, reviews, followers, CCU, tags across 41 regions), IGDB (metadata and release info), review text analysis, and Twitch (streams and viewership). This isn't the Steam API wired up to a generic AI — it's a purpose-built games-marketing stack.

How do games, seats and credits work on the Publisher/Agency plan?

The Publisher/Agency plan ($399/mo, €379) lets you claim up to 20 games, with 1,000 shared credits/month and 5 seats. Each claimed game unlocks the full toolkit — Forecast, Campaign, Report — independently. Need more? Extra seats are $99/mo each (+100 credits apiece), credit top-up packs are available on any plan, and Enterprise lifts the caps entirely — reach out and we'll work something out.

Does this replace my marketing agency?

No — in fact, it usually makes the relationship work better. When your team and your agency are looking at the same Steam data, competitor benchmarks, and audience insights, you speak the same language: briefs go in sharper, reviews go faster, and nobody wastes a call arguing about whose numbers are right. Your agency still brings the strategy, creative direction, press relationships, and execution bandwidth that actually land campaigns. GAMEMARKETER is the shared data layer underneath.

How does this help us evaluate pitches?

Point Research at any comp title the pitch cites, and you get full market fit analysis, competitor landscape, audience personas, and channel recommendations — in a few minutes. Combine that with a revenue forecast and you have a data-driven counterpoint to the studio's projections before you get on the call.

Can we white-label or customize the reports for our studios?

Reports are designed to drop into your own templates cleanly (CSV, PPTX, hosted media kits). Deeper white-label options are on the roadmap — if that's important, talk to us and we'll prioritize it.
